Bio

My name is Jimmy Jefford and I am a freelance musician, tutor and arranger. I’ve been playing and performing music for over 15 years and am part of numerous London based Big Bands, Pop, Soul, R&B and Funk groups. I have performed in venues across Europe & the UK including the likes of the Sage Gateshead, Lyceum Theatre and Barbican. I have First Class BA Honours in Music from Newcastle University as well as a Masters of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have a wide range of hands-on experience in performing and teaching music having been part of the industry for over 5 years. My most recent projects include the Jimmy Jefford Studio Orchestra (see tab for more) and my new band, ‘Jim Jams’.
